Newest skunk to test positive is also in a new area:
2000 Block of W 20th st tested positive on April 25, 2012
One dog was involved with the skunk and will now be on a Home Quarantine.
Please make sure you educate your children of the possible danger of interacting with wildlife and check your pets vaccination status.
Rabies is here and it has become a REAL threat to both Pueblo County residents and their pets. Pueblo Animal Services and the Pueblo City-County Health Department remind individuals that vaccination against rabies is mandatory for all dogs and cats in Pueblo County.
