Rabies has crossed into the Fox population!!!We now have a new species testing positive for rabies. A fox on the mesa near 29th Ln and Preston has tested positive for rabies. This is the same area where we have seen an increased number of skunks testing positve for rabies.
We have now officially seen more rabid skunks in the month of April 2012 then we have for all of 2011. This is a very serious issue, please make sure that you are not feeding the wildlife and taking precautions to protect you, your pets and your property.
