Another Skunk Tests Positive for Rabies

On April 13th, 2012 the 6th skunk tested positive for rabies.

This skunk was found on the Mesa in Pueblo County near the 2600 Block of Santa Fe.

Please take a few moments out of your day to make sure your pets are currently vaccinated against the rabies virus.  The vaccination can only be given by a liscensed veterinarian and generally average about $10.
  •  Call your pets vet to verify the status of their rabies vaccination.  This only takes a few moments and can save you alot of money and heartache.
