If they are not currently vaccinated or need to have a booster get them vaccinated right away. Remember it takes 28 days for that vaccination to be considered a current vaccination.
Protect your pets, by getting them vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian, before they come into contact with a wild animal carrying the rabies virus!
Rabies is here and it has become a REAL threat to both Pueblo County residents and their pets. Pueblo Animal Services and the Pueblo City-County Health Department remind individuals that vaccination against rabies is mandatory for all dogs and cats in Pueblo County.
